Vividthree Holdings (SGX:OMK) announced that it has secured the exclusive rights to develop VR shows for PENINSULA, the sequel to the 2016 Korean box office hit, Train to Busan. (Link to the announcement)
Below are the key highlights:
  •  Vividthree secured the exclusive rights to develop and produce VR shows for “Train to Busan” sequel, Peninsula
  • The group to adapt and produce multisensory-format content based on the story of Peninsula, shows such as virtual reality (VR) immersive experiences, like Escape Missions and Themed House experience
  • Train to Busan, a highly popular 2016 Korean box office hit, Train to Busan, which made over US$140 million worldwide and is also the highest-grossing Korean film in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong at the time
